A sports-apparel graphic built around Tom Brady’s legacy, combining layered photography, athletic typography, team-driven color, and retail-focused garment composition.

Sports merchandise has to accomplish several things at once: identify the athlete or team immediately, communicate emotion and legacy, and remain visually strong when translated onto an actual garment.
This piece was developed around a clear visual hierarchy. Brady’s name establishes the primary read, while layered action imagery creates movement and gives the composition the energy associated with sports graphics. Supporting typography, color, and secondary details reinforce the football context without competing with the central subject.
The composition was considered specifically for apparel—accounting for chest width, print area, viewing distance, garment color, and the way the artwork reads when worn.
The result is a high-impact sports graphic that balances athlete storytelling with the practical demands of retail merchandise.
Designed as an apparel graphic first, THE STANDARD combines layered player imagery, athletic typography, and team-driven color into a composition built for retail merchandise. The visual hierarchy was developed to read quickly from a distance while retaining enough detail to reward a closer look.
